Advanced Facial Aesthetics Clinician
Dr Anj graduated from Kings College London in 2015 as a dentist and then went on to complete a Post graduate certificate (PGCert) in Primary Dental Care in 2016. She practiced cosmetic dentistry in Westminster, Central London for a number of years before commencing her facial aesthetics training.
Since 2018, she has undergone extensive training at several renowned training academies in the UK. Early in her career, she was selected to become an ambassador at the prestigious Dr Bob Khanna Training Institute where she helps to teach new medical professionals how to safely carry out medical aesthetics. In her first 3 years of aesthetics, she was nominated for Best Newcomer of the year at the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics.
She started her own business Aesthetics by Dr Anj in 2020 and launched her social media channels @aestheticsbydranj to educate and inform patients about medical aesthetics and the importance of picking the right injector. She decided to stop practicing dentistry in August 2021 to pursue aesthetics full time, and went on to win two awards for her outstanding clinical work at the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics in 2021 and another two awards in 2022 for her speciality facial balancing.
She has lectured at the renowned annual CCR Aesthetics Conference London in 2022 and has spoken at the Asian Female Entrepreneur Annual Conference in 2023 about her medical aesthetics business and has also appeared on BBC London Radio to discuss how to safely treat skin of colour.
Ethos
Dr Anj specialises in natural, non surgical enhancements and facial balancing treatments. She has a keen interest in skin of colour and treatment of hyperpigmentation using bespoke skincare plans and treatments. She is a warm and friendly clinician who prides herself on always practicing an honest and ethical approach to injectable treatments for her patients.
She strongly believes that the best aesthetic treatments should be undetectable to an untrained eye and many of her patients are first timers to aesthetics, seeking natural and subtle enhancements, which are her speciality. It is natural to feel nervous at first, but she is patient and will talk you through the whole process. She believes strongly in educating member of the public on the lack of regulation in the aesthetics field and on how to pick a safe and ethical practitioner.
Anj’s passion comes from an innate desire to help people to feel more comfortable in their own skin. Although many of the treatments she does are for aesthetic reasons, the psychological impact this can have on a patients self-esteem is really her driving force. She believes in empowering others to feel the best version of themselves, and the honour of being able to do that for someone is what makes her so passionate about her field of work.
